Payroll: a list of a company's employees. But also the total amount of money a company pays to its workers, together with bonuses and taxes.



Payslip, pay advice or salary statement: a document, electronic or in paper, detailing the payment a worker receives from the company.



Equal pay for equal work: a trending concept of labour which states that people, without discrimination, specially a gender biased one, should be paid equally. 



Workforce: the amount of people that work for a company.
  


Redundancy: dismissal of workforce due to there not being enough work for everyone to do.



Probationary period: a period in which the company tests a worker in order to see if he or she fits in the position. 



Psychometric test: a way in which recruiters assess an applicant's capacity to work with others, process information or handle stress in the job. 



Interview panel: a group of people that assess candidates applying for a job. Some interview panels are formal and some informal
