A traveler on his or her own
A starting pre-intermediate student of English should recognise spoken language to a practical larger extent and be able to speak about his or her circumstances with ease. A Business English pre-intermediate student should be able to understand references using common business terminology.
When a pre-intermediate student finishes the program he or she should:
- understand the main points in complex matters
- be able to travel with ease in an English speaking country
- produce coherent text in areas that are familiar to him or her
- be able to describe his or her future career plans
