Safely on my own
The beginning upper intermediate Business English student can listen to and produce language all through an ample array of topics. He or she is becoming a comfortably independant user of English in and out of his field of expertise at work.
A student starting the Upper Intermediate level can speak, listen, read and write without causing his or her interlocutor to strain for fluency at interaction.
At the end of the program the Business English upper intermediate student will:
- understand longer proffessional texts recognising demanding direct and implicit meaning.
- improve his or her spontaneity at communication by means of knowing more idiomatic expressions
- be able to use the language flexibly for effective proffesional purposes
- produce clear well structured text on complex subjects, using controlled organisational patterns and cohesive devices
